Union movement revved up by Starbucks, cannabis workers

The union movement is gaining momentum. Two more Starbucks locations in New Jersey voted Monday to be represented by Workers United, following in the footsteps of the Hopewell Starbucks in Mercer County, which became the first Starbucks in the state to unionize last week. On Tuesday, Starbucks workers and recently unionized cannabis dispensary workers met with labor leaders and Gov. Phil Murphy.
