Medical Marijuana in Wyoming?

Executive Director of Wyoming NORML Chris Christian talks about the “Peggy A. Kelly Wyoming Cannabis Act of 2016” with Wyoming Signatures’ Justin Flaskerud. Wyoming NORML is about to start a petition drive to get the measure on the November 2016 general election. If passed, it would allow the use of medical cannabis by patients with debilitating medical conditions if recommended by the patient’s doctor.

In order to quality, patients would need to be suffering from conditions such as cancer, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, ALS, Crohn’s disease, sickle-cell anemia, ulcerative colitis, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, cachexia/wasting syndrome and post-traumatic stress disorder to name a few examples.
