The Hamilton Police Vice and Drug Unit have shut down a non-government regulated cannabis manufacturing facility.
Police say they executed a search warrant on Aug. 17 at an East End business where they uncovered the facility.
Investigators found over 30,000 packages of edibles valued over $700,000, oil hash and shatter products valued over $100,000, cannabis valued over $175,000, and unpackaged edibles valued over $70,000.
Two people were arrested on site and have been released to wait for their court date.
Cannabis manufacturing facilities are required to be government regulated to ensure safety of consumers.
Police ask anyone with more information to contact them.
