On June 14, Senator Chuck Schumer introduced a new cannabis legalization bill that includes the adjustments needed for multi-state operators to trade on US exchanges.
“We’ve been waiting for this a long time,” Dan Ahrens of AdvisorShares Investments said about the bill. But the expert is not hopeful about the potential for this legislation to make it through as it stands. “Politicians have to be politicians,” he said.
