Governor Cuomo announced this week, a proposal to legalize and create a comprehensive system to oversee and regulate cannabis in New York as part of the 2021 State of the State, saying that the industry will eventually lead to 60,000 new jobs, $3.5 billion in economic activity, and $300 million in tax revenue.
