In this long-awaited video, I cover the final steps in the cannabis cultivation process – dry trimming and curing in jars. I say ‘dry’ trimming, because some people instead choose to ‘wet’ trim their cannabis before hanging. Since I hung my branches right from the plant, I have to trim off the dried leaf material before tossing them in airtight mason jars.
Curing is the last stage in the refinement process that lets the cannabis continue to dry and shed off harsh tasting chemicals, leading to a more pleasant taste and aroma. I will leave the jars to cure in a dark room for 2-3 weeks, then it’ll be ready to enjoy!
