I love real people creating real worthwhile content, and I have to tip my cap to Roy Choi. This is Christine Sclafani for TNMNews and I recently read in Esquire about Roy Choi’s new show Broken Bread. He is one of the most authentic people out there doing the foodie thing and he is now taking it to another real life level.
The show does not just cover cooking with cannabis but also how prohibition has impacted people negatively in his home city of Los Angeles. He ends up interviewing the mayor of L.A., Eric Garcetti and talks about all of the people being left behind now that California has legalized cannabis. Roy is an open marijuana flower smoker and feels like a lot of the cooking with weed discussion is too superficial and wants to get to the true heart of the problems surrounding the Schedule 1 status of cannabis. You can checkout his new show on TasteMade TV and it debuted on May 15th.
