This interim final rule amends the definition of marihuana extract to conform to
the revised definitions of marihuana and tetrahydrocannabinols. This revised definition
now includes the 0.3%-THC content limit for the extract, meaning hemp-derived extracts
containing less than 0.3%-THC content are also decontrolled along with the plant itself.
