As most of you are aware, California was the forerunner of all the individual states in the United States in legalizing the medical use of marijuana. In 2016, California, Nevada, Maine and Massachusetts approved ballot measures to legalize recreational cannabis. Now several states have followed the footsteps of those States. Illinois was the most recent state, making them the eleventh state to legalize both recreational and medical use. Many more states and even the federal government is looking into ways to decriminalize. I believe 2020 will be known the year many states decriminalized weed.
I just want informed you guys that just because its legal doesn’t mean that you can drive. If you get stopped driving an officer smells an odor of marijuana coming from your car, you might get arrested and be charged with DUI.
