Welcome to The TRICHOMES Weekly Roll Up: This week in Cannabis – In the US cannabis has become a $6.2 billion crop coming in above cotton based on wholesale crop values and researchers have concluded there is no link between legalization, suicide and/or depression.
Next the DEA has called for new cannabis cultivators to supply the federal government funded research studies. Additionally, a recent study was published stating the cannabis previously supplied from Ole Miss is more similar to hemp than what can be found in dispensaries today. And last up, a new report from the US Congressional Research Service has found that President Biden can provide amnesty to anyone for cannabis-related crimes.
