California Offers $100 Million to Rescue Its Struggling Legal Marijuana Industry
In 2019, California’s legacy market outsold its legal market. In an effort to make more businesses transition from provisional to regular licenses the California Legislature approved a $100 million plan to bolster Cali’s taxed and regulated market.
According to the governor’s office, as of April, 82% of the state’s licensees still held provisional licenses.
