The Senate now seems to be on board with federal marijuana legalization as even more senators announce their support for legalization. Senators Cory Booker, of New Jersey, and Ron Wyden, of Oregon joined Chuck Schumer of NY saying “Ending the federal marijuana prohibition is necessary to right the wrongs of this failed war and end decades of harm inflicted on communities of color across the country. The senators said they will release “a unified discussion draft on comprehensive reform” early this year and that passing the legislation will be a priority for the Senate.
Plus, it’s Humpday and we are fairly certain that the guy who decided to put the first ‘R’ in February was also the guy who decided how to spell ‘Wednesday’.
