Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana program explained

Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Explained. The Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program will cover the following 17 conditions. Cancer, Crohn’s Disease, Epilepsy, Glaucoma, HIV / AIDS, Huntington’s Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Intractable Seizures, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuropathies, Parkinson’s Disease, PTSD, and Sickle Cell Anemia. Medical Marijuana will be available in the following forms at regional dispensaries pill, oil, topical forms, including gel, creams or ointments, a form medically appropriate for administration by vaporization or nebulization, excluding dry leaf or plant form, tincture, and liquid. The PA Department of Health will issue a limited number of permits to growers and dispensaries across 6 regions. Signed into law by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf on April 17, 2016, implementation of the program is is expected in early 2018.
