Sources have informed that the file has been sent back to the health department after approval and that the final decision will be taken by the cabinet.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has confirmed that a file has been moved to make cannabis plantation for medical purposes legal in the state.
Speaking to Prudent, CM Sawant said “ Just because there is some file movement or some proposal is moved does not mean it’s a decision. When the government takes a call it is a decision. There can be file movement or proposal coming in,”
