Lawmakers scrambling to rescue cannabis bills

Sen. Nicholas Scutari was being blamed by some for poisoning the negotiations by adding magic mushrooms into the bill to decriminalize cannabis. That was something Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin said his members did not sign up for.
