A new study by the Centre on Drug Policy Evaluation and the University of Toronto has found that representation in Canada’s cannabis industry is sorely lacking. But there are steps that can be taken to address this, such as social equity programs like the ones that have been implemented in California, Massachusetts, and Illinois. Experts say this could help boost representation in Canada’s cannabis industry.
