The use of marijuana is a controversial subject in Asia and Indonesia is no exception. Recently, Indonesia’s agricultural ministry signed a decree that listed marijuana as a medicinal plant, but after facing backlashes from citizens and the national narcotics enforcement agency, they decided to take marijuana out of the list and this became a hot button issue in Indonesia. So how do ordinary citizens of Indonesia perceive marijuana? We hit the streets of Jakarta to find out.
