Gold’s price milestones have kept it in focus for the last couple of weeks, but this time we’re focusing on silver. The white metal has made it past the US$19 per ounce mark this year, but has yet to break the US$20 level.

While some market watchers have been disappointed in its performance, others think it’s only a matter of time before it has its day in the sun. For example, Chris Marchese of GoldSeek believes silver could hit a new all-time high relatively soon.

Meanwhile, in the cannabis space, news hit that Aphria and Aurora Cannabis were reportedly in talks to merge, but their discussions broke down last week.
