The continued victimisation of cannabis users by police despite the landmark 2018 Constitutional Court Ruling is under the spotlight at the Cannabis Conference in East London. Before the 2018 ruling, on average 100 people per day would be arrested for the planting and private use of cannabis. The Fields of Green for All organisation has since reported that the number of arrests is down to less than 20 daily.
